Growing up in Northern California, Lisa learned a great deal about construction and creativity from her folks who both worked for an international general contractor. She holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

 Thanks to multiple summer jobs that included insight into careers in public works, civil structural engineering, construction, administration, and even a stint as a professional janitor, it was not hard to steer herself toward the hands-on, practical world of building. When the time came for her to seek out a career, it was fate that Lisa got the last interview slot with a big Bay Area-based construction firm which ultimately hired her as a project engineer. She managed projects there and later for over 8 years in the Seattle market before moving to Reno, NV.

 Lisa is very creative and excels in analysis, distilling complex data into actionable insights and maintaining a vigilant eye on risk. She turns volumes of intricate details into strategic solutions and also implements them.

 What fuels Lisa's fire for the construction industry is its dynamic nature. She thrives on ever-changing projects, loves learning on the go, and finds inspiration in the camaraderie of her colleagues. Described as funny and focused, Lisa's interests span graphic design, photography, artificial intelligence, sewing, crafting, interior design, art, travel, and collecting vintage souvenirs.
